Peanut Butter and Pumpkin Dog Treats

It's Pumpkin Season

Being a healthy dog mom, I want to make sure I make homemade doggie treats for my pup, Picasso.  So yes, he will be eating Crunchy Peanut Butter and Pumpkin Treats in the next month.  Before I get Picasso excited about these yummy treats, I want to make sure I have all the ingredients.

As I rummage through the pantry to find the cinnamon, nutmeg and oh yes, pumpkin spice, I realized that dog treats are not as complex as human treats.  Dog treats are as simple as a can of pumpkin, some peanut butter and whole-wheat flour. What a minute, did I forget the cinnamon?  Of course I didn't, that's what gives dog treats a bit of spice!

Ok, so how much of each ingredient do I need?
